The Missouri Public Service Commission regulates investor-owned electric, steam, natural gas, water and sewer and telephone companies. Its mission is to ensure Missouri consumers have access to safe, reliable and reasonably priced utility service while allowing those utility companies under our jurisdiction an opportunity to earn a reasonable return on their investment. The PSC also regulates manufacturers and retail dealers who sell new and used manufactured homes and modular units. The commission was established in 1913. The PSC is comprised of five commissioners, who are appointed by the governor.

JEFFERSON CITY---Laclede Gas Company (Laclede) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to discontinue propane gas service to the Meadowview Acres Mobile Home Park in Jefferson County. Laclede is asking the Commission for authority to sell the propane assets used to provide service to the mobile home park to AmeriGas Partners, L.P., an unregulated propane gas provider.
According to the application, under the terms of the sales contract, AmeriGas will provide propane gas service to any existing customer in the Meadowview Acres Mobile Home Park who seeks to receive service under terms similar to those provided by Laclede. Laclede currently has 13 customers in Meadowview Acres.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than October 4, 2007, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O.
