The Missouri Public Service Commission regulates investor-owned electric, steam, natural gas, water and sewer and telephone companies. Its mission is to ensure Missouri consumers have access to safe, reliable and reasonably priced utility service while allowing those utility companies under our jurisdiction an opportunity to earn a reasonable return on their investment. The PSC also regulates manufacturers and retail dealers who sell new and used manufactured homes and modular units. The commission was established in 1913. The PSC is comprised of five commissioners, who are appointed by the governor.

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing in Warsaw on June 9, 2008 to receive customer comment on rate requests filed by Aqua Missouri, Inc. (Aqua Missouri). The hearing schedule is set out below.

Aqua Missouri is seeking to change its water and sewer rates for all of its 11 service areas in Cole, Callaway, Pettis, Greene, Benton, Taney, Christian, Morgan, Stone and Barry counties.
Aqua Missouri is seeking to increase annual water operating revenues by approximately $30,760 in its White Branch service area. The company is seeking to increase annual sewer operating revenues by approximately $9,600 in its Ozark Meadows service area.
A current and proposed flat rate monthly water bill for a full time residential water customer in the company’s White Branch service area; and the current and proposed flat rate monthly sewer rate for a residential sewer customer in the Ozark Meadows service area appear below.
