Contact: Kevin Kelly (573) 751-9300

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- DECEMBER 10, 2007

JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved the sale of the Savannah Heights Industrial Treatment, Inc. (Savannah Heights) sewer system to Table Rock Lake Community Service, Inc. d/b/a Table Rock Lake Water Quality, Inc. (TRLCS).

According to the application, upon commission approval of the transaction, TRLCS intends to transfer ownership of the assets of Savannah Heights to Ozarks Clean Water Company, a nonprofit sewer company.  Ozarks Clean Water Company would then own and operate the sewer system.

On November 30, 2007, the PSC staff filed its recommendation for approval of the transfer of assets stating it would not be detrimental to the public interest.

Based upon a review of the information submitted in this case, the commission concluded the application should be granted.

Savannah Heights currently provides sewer service to approximately 100 customers in an unincorporated area of Taney County near Branson, Missouri.
